Rona Jaleson of Paull and Williamsons Solicitors, undertook the course at Petrofac Training Services’ facility in Aberdeen. She signed up for the course after request from clients to help give offshore advice following the introduction of the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007.
Senior management at companies, which are under investigation for Corporate Manslaughter, will have their roles, in relation to any accident, scrutinised by the police. Following the course Rona now has a better understanding about survival measures that can help prevent offshore fatalities.
