Joining forces – Superbikes partnership tastes early success
Safety products distributor Buck and Hickman has teamed up with Jentin Racing for the third year running to enter the 2010 British Superbike championship.
The two companies will partner with BMW Motorrad UK to become the official BMW Works team to enter the new EVO class. The bikes will carry ‘Tooltastic’ branding, which is the name of Buck and Hickman’s new national network of trade counters. The team will also use Buck and Hickman’s ‘Roebuck’ tools in the pit lane.
The team has started off the new season with a bang with rider Steve Brogan enjoying a double win in the EVO class at Brands Hatch, and he currently lies in second place in the championship standings.
Buck and Hickman marketing manager, Simon Armer, said: “This is an incredibly exciting year for Jentin Racing as they become the official BMW Works team. We’ve built a close relationship with them over the past two years so we were eager to carry on our support and follow their progress for this season. We’re pleased that our Roebuck hand tools, tool cabinets and consumables will be put to good use and hopefully help the team gain pole position.”
