Joining forces- Interlocks firm faces global challenge

For the last 25 years, Fortress Systems Pty Ltd incorporated both a resistor business and a business selling Halma Safety Interlock products. As the former was recently sold, the remaining interlocking company joined with Fortress Interlocks Ltd to become Fortress Interlocks Pty Ltd.Mike Golding, managing director of Fortress Interlocks Ltd, UK commented:
“We are much stronger working together. Now we have a united strategy and internationally-certified products, which allows us to face global challenges and extend our reach in the industrial interlocks market.”Malcolm Sharp, the previous Fortress Systems sales director, is now responsible for the new Fortress Interlocks business based in Melbourne. He said: “The move to becoming solely an interlocks business provides an excellent opportunity for expansion into the Asian market. We can focus all our energy on our core products and invest in our manufacturing and customer service to provide our customers with even better levels of support.”
