Two students from Nottingham Trent University have received awards from health and safety recruitment agency Shirley Parsons Associates (SPA).
Both students received degrees in BSc (Hons) Safety, Health and Environmental Management. SPA provides on-going career advice and support to students on the course. As part of the graduation ceremony Jessica Pishda was named best overall student, and Thomas Blosher won the best dissertation award. Both were handed their awards by SPA managing director Shirley Parsons.
A spokesperson for SPA said: “Shirley was delighted to attend the 2010 Nottingham Trent Graduation ceremony and to present the award for best overall student to Jessica Pishdar and best dissertation to Thomas Bolsher. Shirley and the team continue to support students throughout their studies and look forward to their return visit to the university next year.”
