Free information- Road-risk ammunition

The moral, legal and financial arguments in favour of effective at-work

road risk management are outlined in a new white paper from Cardinus

Risk Management.

The 15-page document aims to give managers the information and guidance they need to implement an effective work-related road-safety strategy, and help them make a strong case for financial and moral support from their company.

The report includes a chapter on the economic benefits, which shows the cost-saving potential of a road-risk strategy that includes driver training. There are also chapters on road safety statistics and the causes of incidents, health and safety, legal responsibilities, duty of care, and negligence.

Marcus Noble, managing director of the company, said: “It’s sometimes difficult to pull together all the evidence for managing road risk, so Cardinus decided to make it easier. This white paper has been prepared by respected industry experts to present the moral, legal and financial arguments for effective at-work road risk management. It brings together all the strongest reasons in just one document, giving you all the ammunition you’ll need when seeking buy-in and funding from the board.”

A free copy of the report, ‘Managing work-related road safety – an insight into the requirement to identify and manage risks on the road’, can be obtained from www.fleet-safe.co.uk
