Experienced team heads new training firm

A new health, safety, and environment training company has launched in Cardiff and will start offering IOSH and NEBOSH training courses in May.

Astutis Ltd will be headed up by chairman David Lea, who previously launched Corporate Health and Safety Solutions (CHSS), managing director Steve Terry, and operations director Brenig Moore.

All three directors previously worked at CHSS and have a combined experience of 50 years in delivering safety training. Mr Tully revealed that the team’s background would prove vital for the success of the new company. He said: “When you’re looking for training in a field such as health, safety and environmental, you want to know that your trainers are experienced and knowledgeable in their field. With a Masters in Education and an Examiner on the NEBOSH courses Brenig leads our training team and instils confidence in students.

“For us as a company, it’s superb to have a business mind like David Lea on board; David has done this before and created the UK’s leading provider of accredited HSE training, so we wanted to tap into that expertise. He had recently retired from his previous company and so we asked if he would be interested in getting involved; it didn’t take much persuasion. 

“Now we’re looking forward to providing our range of courses to businesses all over Britain from our UK training centres which are based at Heathrow, Leeds, and Warrington and in Newport”.
