Employee recognition- Database tracks workers’ behaviour
Launched by On Track Record, the database can be used to hold details of employees’ positive health and safety behaviour in a formal manner. Employees are periodically issued with a personal record card, which they can retain as evidence of their proactivity, and which may count towards team targets and assist employers when it comes to annual appraisals. As part of the initiative, which is free for employees to participate in, a small panel on each record card can be scratched off to reveal a random number of points. Progressive personal achievement levels are linked to predetermined points targets and published on an internal database for clients. There is also the option for records to be published on the scheme’s website, www.ontrackrecord.com but all participating employees must authorise the sharing of their personal achievements by opting in to the publication of data on the site.“Publication of personal achievements, either internally or via our website, only adds to the motivational effect of recognition. Employers appreciate the opportunity and value in being transparent about their proactivity, by using our website, which helps build trust with their employees, stakeholders and prospective clients,” said James Patterson, director of On Track Record. For more information on the initiative, telephone 01324 411158 or e-mail [email protected]
