BSC Global Risk Management Theatre to run exclusively at
SHE 2015

The British Safety Council has chosen Safety & Health Expo as the location to host its British Safety Council Global Risk Management Theatre.

The British Safety Council will join leading industry bodies including: IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health), RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) BSIF (British Safety Industry Federation), BOHS (British Occupational Hygiene Society), SGUK (Safety Groups UK), AIF (Access Industries Forum) as a key supporter of the show.

Neal Stone, acting chief executive of British Safety Council, said: “We have chosen to support Safety & Health Expo as we believe it is important for the UK to have one national event which brings together all elements of the profession and Health and Safety organisations in one place. This is a must attend event in order to keep up to speed with industry developments and supports our vision that no one should be injured or made ill at work. I look forward to seeing everyone at the show.”

Safety & Health Expo will be the only national event where the British Safety Council will be hosting live content. The Global Risk Management Theatre will feature international industry leaders who will speak on the specific challenges for UK managers who are responsible for global health and safety. It will also look at best practice overseas.

Over 330 companies will be exhibiting at the health and safety show. Over 20% of exhibitors will be international brands.  The exhibition will be co-locating with the IOSH 2015 Conference, the RoSPA Awards and the Health Symposium, which forms part of UK Health and Safety Week.

Heather Beach, director, OSH Global, said: “We are delighted that the British Safety Council has selected Safety & Health Expo as the only National UK event to host its British Safety Council Global Risk Management Theatre, which helps enforce our mission to positively influence the world of health and safety. Having all the major industry bodies behind the event demonstrates the growth and opportunity available at the 2015 show.”

Safety & Health Expo is being presented as part of UBM EMEA’s Protection & Management series, five major shows in related marketplaces covering safety, service management, facilities, security and fire.
