Be part of a night of champions
If you believe your organisation’s health and safety performance or individual achievements merit professional recognition, then start thinking about your entry for this year’s SHP IOSH Awards.
Now in their seventh year, the Awards are free to enter, and recognise individuals and companies for whom good health and safety is not only paramount but also fundamental to how they do their job, or run their business.
The entry period opened at the end of last week (5 April) and there are 12 categories, which cover industry-specific achievements and individual and activity-related endeavour.
The judges will consider the scale of the achievement and/or how well the initiative worked, rather than how much money or other resources were spent. They will also give favour to entries that present strong results of improved health and safety performance.
For full information on the categories and criteria, and to submit your entry, visit our new Awards website at www.shp-iosh-awards.co.uk The entry period closes on 28 June.
The names of the lucky winners are not revealed until the golden envelopes are opened on the night of the ceremony, which takes place in the salubrious surroundings of the London Hilton Park Lane on Thursday, 24 October 2013.
The black-tie event includes a champagne reception, a sumptuous three-course meal, a well-known TV personality as host for the evening, plus a range of superb after-dinner entertainment, when you can really let your hair down.
