Lone-worker protection – Incident Management Centre
Skyguard says that following the award of NSI ARC Gold Approval to its Incident Management Centre (IMC) for lone-worker monitoring, it is the first company to offer an end-to-end service that includes all elements of BS 8484:2009, the new standard for the provision of lone-worker device services.
The company says the approval process leading to the Gold Award included a detailed evaluation not only of the IMC’s operating and management procedures but also its quality management systems to ensure conformance with BS EN ISO 9001:2008. Both personal safety devices offered by Skyguard – GEMshield and Skyguard 500 – also comply with BS 8484:2009 in all aspects of their construction, performance and operation, adds the firm.
Marketing director Will Murray says the Gold Approval demonstrates Skyguard works to the highest industry standards as demanded by the Police and emergency services. For further information, contact Will on 020 8786 3305.
