Transit solution – HogBox

Returnable-packaging company Loadhog has developed a transit solution called the HogBox, which, it says, balances volume and security in handling valuable, delicate, or bulky items.

The 190-litre capacity, polypropylene HogBox has pallet feet, handles, attached lockable lids, and a 100kg load capacity.

Loadhog says HogBox eliminates the wasteful use of cardboard boxes or plastic packaging, and is compatible with mechanical handling equipment, including forklifts.

The HogBox is said to be large enough to transport a wide variety of product sizes and weights, and can be branded on its exterior.

When stacked, the HogBox can be used with the Loadhog Lid, which secures the load immediately, says the firm, requiring no dedicated equipment or one-trip materials, and reducing trailer use by up to 50 per cent.
