COSHH safety data sheets – ESL WASPS software

ESL has made a number of changes to its WASPS software, incorporating new Globally Harmonised Systems updates.

The firm says its WASPS software raises awareness of COSHH among all staff, and highlights the ease with which the system conveys complicated information from safety data sheets to staff via an easy-to-understand, one-page sheet containing graphics.

Changes to the system include:

  • more than 200 new safety data sheets  added to the library;
  • a new facility to display either GHS or CHIP symbols;
  • Windows 7 compatibility;
  • the addition of Polish as a language into which the system can transpose a WASPS sheet; and
  • improved security.
