West Indies conference- President’s WISHHES
Incoming IOSH president Neil Budworth will be giving the keynote address at the fourth Annual West Indies Safety Health Hygiene & Environmental Symposium (WISHHES), which is being held from 29 November to 2 December in St Anns, Trinidad and Tobago.
Entitled ‘Safety & health development — taking care of business’ the four-day conference will showcase speakers from the USA and the West Indies, including: Dr Martin Harper, Michael Gautreaux, Cheryl Gittens, Harold Oxley and Anthony Rocheford.
For guests wanting to spend as much time in the West Indian climate as possible, there is a pre-conference ergonomics workshop on 29 November. The main body of the conference will cover safety in schools, safety management systems, risk management, safety in tourism and industrial hazards.
