Rail industry conference- First-class health and safety
Organised by the IOSH Railway Group, the fifth Rail Industry Conference is taking place on Tuesday, 24 November at the Glaziers Hall in London. Once again the conference is sponsored by QBE.
The keynote speaker will be Louise Ellman MP, chair of the Transport Select Committee, while Lawrence Waterman, head of health and safety at the Olympic Delivery Authority will be giving the closing address.
Other confirmed speakers include:

€ᄁ Phil Bladon — risk manager, casualty at QBE Insurance (Europe);
€ᄁ Anders Lundstrom, head of safety unit at European Railways Agency;

€ᄁ Andguest speaker Dr Pete Waterman OBE, chairman of the London and North Western Railway Heritage Company, and music producer.
