Professional development comes to Ireland
Tailored Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses are now available for members in the Republic of Ireland.
The courses, which take place at either Springfield Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare, or Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork, have been tailored to reflect Irish legislation, following demand from Irish members.
Forthcoming courses include:
* Getting to grips with manual handling — manual handling operations risk assessment’ which takes place on 5-6 April in Cork or on the 24-25 May in Leixlip. The course costs e643 for IOSH members and e724 for non members.
* ‘Managing musculoskeletal disorders’ on 28 June in Cork. The course costs e322 for IOSH members and e404 for non members.
* ‘General risk assessment’ on 13-15 September in Leixlip, priced e964 for IOSH members and e1,046 for non members.
* ‘Incident investigation and risk control’ takes place in Cork on 4-5 October priced e643 for IOSH members and e724 for non members.
‘Noise at work — risk assessment and management’ on 6-10 November in Leixlip. The course is priced e1,605 for IOSH members and e1,687 for non members.
* ‘Electrical safety at work’ on 6 December in Cork, priced e322 for IOSH members and e404 for non members.
