Get your papers in for Telford

The IOSH 2007 Conference will be heading to the West Midlands town of Telford, and the organisers would like your views on speakers, topics or issues you think should be covered.

To be hosted at the Telford International Centre, the conference has the theme ‘Health and safety: the changing world of work’ so suggestions for presentations and presenters to complement this are invited. Areas of particular interest include ‘Health in the changing workplace’, ‘Managing change in the organisation’ and ‘A new world of risk’.

As ever, regulatory updates, case law, practical toolkits and case studies would also be welcome so that IOSH 07 can offer delegates everything they need to be immediately more effective in the workplace.

The organisers would also like more interactive presentation methods. These may involve using innovative visual aids or encouraging debate and engagement with delegates.

So, if you would like to be a speaker at IOSH 07, please submit a synopsis of your presentation, including title and contact details, by 28 April, to Juliet Neckar, IOSH 07 Conference, T&F Informa, Haines House, 21 John St, London WC1N 2BP or email [email protected] If you know someone who would wow our audience, please send suggestions by email to the same address.

The venue

Telford International Centre is a purpose built exhibition and conference venue situated in the heart of the West Midlands, close to the motorway network. It has two on-site hotels, with ample accommodation situated around the town.

The move to Telford follows a commitment given by IOSH to hold our conference at various venues around the UK so that all members have an opportunity to come along, without having to travel long distances year-on-year.
