First IOSH webcast
The International Specialist Group (ISG) is organising IOSH’s first ever web conference ‘Global principles — local practice’ which will include 15 minute presentations from across the world.
Staying in touch for IOSH’s international members isn’t always easy — but a web event in October will show how new technology is set to make services and communications much more accessible.
The International Specialist Group (ISG) is organising IOSH’s first ever web conference ‘Global principles — local practice’ which will include 15 minute presentations from across the world.
Speakers include:
– Kathy Seabrook, who will talk about the USA’s Sarbanes-Oxley Act;
– David Evans, who will discuss the Seveso 2 directive that is currently being implemented throughout Europe;
– Rakesh Maharaj, who will be comparing health and safety risk in Africa and the Middle East;
– Rob Todd, who will look at how health and safety often takes a back seat in areas of conflict or crisis.
We are looking for a suitable sponsor for the event so that it can be offered free of charge to members and at a minimal cost to non members. For more information please email [email protected] with ISG Web Event in the heading.
