Branch review- Have your say
There’s just a few days left to send us your comments on proposals to set up a new branch coordination committee (BCC).
The new committee, which is intended to help link branches and districts with the wider network structure and help improve communications and administration in IOSH, has been put forward by the branch review working party (BRWP) after branch and brand reviews.
Members are being asked for their views on two issues concerning the proposed new committee. These are:
- what reporting route the committee should take;
- and how the committee should be populated. This will consist of a maximum of 12 people who will be responsible for reporting from all branches and districts (International Branch representatives will be dealt with outside of this 12 but will be included in the BCC).
Your feedback is needed on these two issues before 10 February. Letters have been sent to all branch/district officials with full details of the proposal, so if you want to have a say, you’ll need to:
- attend your next branch/district meeting;
- contact your branch/district officials with comments; or
- feedback your comments to Naomi Davidson at [email protected]
Networks and international director, Sarah Hamilton, said: “This is your last chance to get involved in the consultation prior to the proposal going to the Board of Trustees, so please let us have your comments. There will be further opportunities to comment as part of the review post implementation.”
