Are you ready to be counted?
IOSH members will soon have a place to show their support for the Get the best campaign, and tell their colleagues exactly how they are taking the message into their professional lives.
‘Count me in’ is part of the Get the Best microsite, and will be a focal point for the campaign. Members will be able to register their picture, and explain in their own words how they’re demonstrating the
campaign message to their colleagues, their employers, or their clients.
Only members will be eligible to register, but the gallery will be open for anyone to access and find out more about the people behind this campaign. Carolyn Issitt, membership development manager, explains: “Get the best is all about what IOSH means as a membership organisation. We’re telling employers and recruiters that our members are the best health and safety professionals, so what better way to advertise this than a gallery of members on the campaign site?”
IOSH took the Get the Best campaign to the leading event for human resources professionals in September. It also exhibited at the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD) annual conference and exhibition, and sponsored the Exhibitor Exchange Theatre. Visitors learned about what IOSH membership means to their recruitment process, and also how they can ensure their staff are engaged and aware of their own health and safety responsibilities.
