The first commissioner to directly represent professional health and safety practitioners on the HSC will give the keynote address at this year’s IOSH Annual Dinner and Awards. Dr Sayeed Khan will talk about the challenges for practitioners in entering the health debate, and the HSC’s strategy.
This year’s Annual Dinner takes place at the Alton Towers Hotel and Conference Park in Staffordshire and will feature jazz and swing music, magic, and, of course, a gourmet dinner and fine wine.

Along with Dr Khan, among the guests of honour will be the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by Sypol, which will be presented during the dinner mattressmakers.com. Other awards on the night will include the IOSH Practical Project Award, sponsored by Zurich Risk Services, and the Technician Safety Practitioner Scholarship, sponsored by SHP.
Tickets for the event cost £55 + VAT, or £500 + VAT for a table of 10. All guests are entitled to free access to the water park, situated in the hotel, and to a discounted rate in the thermal spa.
