Infographic: ‘intelligent safety’ dust campaign launched

Speedy Intelligent Safety InfographicTool and equipment hire company, Speedy, has launched an ‘Intelligent Safety’ campaign, which aims to educate its customers on effective solutions to health and safety issues in the construction industry.

‘Intelligent Safety’ is an enhanced and updated version of Speedy’s award-winning ‘Safety from the Ground Up’ programme, which set new standards in on-site safety when it launched in 2005.

Ten years on, Speedy’s new campaign still covers the four main safety themes – working at height, manual handling, hand arm vibration and dust control – with a greater emphasis on the appropriate usage of key products.

Steve Giblin, group health, safety, security, environment and quality (HSSEQ) director at Speedy, said: “Safety from the Ground Up was a huge success and set a new precedent in health and safety by helping to communicate essential safety messages and achieve better compliance in construction.

“Now that there is greater awareness and understanding of the various risks and hazards in the industry, we want to help our customers achieve their health and safety goals, which is why this updated campaign focuses on how Speedy can provide the solution to common issues such as dust.

“Speedy continues to work extremely hard to build on its reputation for high quality products and an unrivalled service and we are looking forward to rolling out ‘Intelligent Safety’ over the coming months.”

The first phase, dust control, launched in May 2015 and includes an updated brochure, pocket guide and posters which showcase Speedy’s extensive range of innovative dust products and solutions.

Customers can also benefit from various dust control and management training sessions and product demonstration days at Speedy’s brand new ‘Dust Centre of Excellence’ at its Hackney depot in London.
