Following the success of Health and Safety Week 2015 where the focus was on occupational health and inspiring organisations to spread the message of the importance of acknowledging issues with health in the workplace, Health & Safety Week 2017 is celebrating excellence in health and safety.
Safety & Health Expo will be hosting awards for Rising Stars in Health and Safety and celebrating diversity in the profession with #SHE1000, both sponsored by NEBOSH.
To celebrate the future leaders of the profession, we will be hosting the Rising Star in Health and Safety Awards for the second year running as part of UK Health and Safety Week 2017.
Nominations will open shortly with the ceremony taking place on Wednesday 21st, at Safety & Health Expo at ExCeL London. The Rising Star Awards will be supported by key health and safety associations and the winner will receive a whole host of prizes to provide a perfect springboard for their career.
Following the successful launch of the Women in Health and Safety network in 2016, Health & Safety Week is committed to increasing the representation of women working in the profession.
The next Women in Health & Safety event is set to take place on 20-22 June at Safety & Health Expo at ExCeL London and is an opportunity to meet and network with peers and influential people in their profession. Watch this space for more information.
