The launch of an assessment service for inspectors of fire doors has been described as a groundbreaking improvement to the way in which health and safety professionals can support property owners in complying with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RRO).
The Certificated Fire Door Inspector assessment completes the provision of the Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS), which provides a systematic progression through online education, examination and independent assessment.
Once they have proved they meet the required FDIS standard, certificated inspectors are provided with support tools, including:
