Fire safety – Schott Pyranova
Independent glass processor ESG is now providing Schott Pyranova fire-resistant safety glass, which, it says, allows it to offer insulation as well as integrity in an even wider range of fire-resistant glass solutions.
According to ESG, Pyranova can be butt-jointed, giving architects and designers the freedom to construct runs of glass without the need for obtrusive framework, which can destroy the aesthetic appeal and openness of office spaces, and thus making it a great option for partitioning installers.
Said to be equally ideal for single glazing for doors, partitions and curtain-walling installed into approved timber and steel-frame systems, Pyranova can also easily be incorporated into double-glazed units. With a range of thicknesses and construction types, Pyranova is suitable for internal and external applications, adds ESG.
