Lift alarm- Memco emergency alarm

Memco Ltd is launching a new emergency-lift alarm device – Memcom. The company describes it as a high-quality product that offers a flexible solution to the demands set by compliance regulations, and which is easy to install and programme.

Memco says the most common cause of autodialler returns is incorrect unit programming, rather than hardware faults. Memcom’s LCD display is said to reduce the likelihood of this, as engineers can clearly see what they are programming into the backlit unit. Fitting is straightforward – either on top of the lift car or behind the car operating panel, adds Memco. Also available is a single, versatile, multi-point station accessory, as opposed to other diallers, which need different units for the motor room, pit and under the car. The Memcom provides two easy and flexible methods for complying with EN81-28 safety regulations, adds its manufacturer. For more details on the alarm, visit www.memco.co.uk
