RRC expands through Colombian partnership
RRC Training has partnered with a local health and safety practitioner in Colombia as part of its strategy to raise workplace health and safety standards through training across the world.
The Latin American Industrial Safety Training Organisation (LISTO) is the first group in South America to offer UK-accredited courses from across the health, safety and environment sector, which includes those offered by IOSH, NEBOSH, CIEH and the British Safety Council, thanks to its RRC partnership.
LISTO will be based in Medellin, serving several countries in South America from its Colombian base. It will also offer free individual places for under-privileged and disabled people on each course.
LISTO chief executive Roger Perez will be working closely with RRC to develop and expand the offering, including the introduction of courses in both English and Spanish.
RRC international development manager Gosia Tulacz said: “I was delighted with the co-operation and enthusiasm form everyone I met while I was in Medellin setting up the joint venture and developing the partnership with Roger. I am confident that together we will help to achieve safer working in Colombia and beyond.”
