TraffiGlove product in use across north London
Workers at London Waste, a waste management firm servicing several north London boroughs, are now using a protective glove to handle hazardous waste which the makers TraffiGlove say offer high abrasion resistance and good grip in wet, dry and even oily conditions.
According to TraffiGlove, the TG595 glove meet the EN388 Standard, which they say tests gloves on a scale of 1 to 5 for blade cut resistance and 1 to 4 for abrasion resistance, tear resistance and puncture resistance. They add the TG595 Glaze offers a cut level 5 rating making it ideal for use when handling sharp or jagged materials where there is a much higher cut risk.
Franz Lorenschitz, Marketing Manager of TraffiGlove commented: “TraffiGlove invented the original three colour coding system that shows the cut protection level of gloves at a glance. Our innovative safety system is now helping to reduce hand accidents across a range of industries around the world and we’re proud to be supporting London Waste in this way too.”
