JSP partners with construction industry charity

GOLF - DAY_01JSP has announced a new and exclusive safety partnership with the Lighthouse Club, the charity that supports the construction industry.

Funded by the Lighthouse Club and donations from individuals, businesses and organisations in the construction industry, the Construction Industry Helpline provides confidential, 24-hour support and advice to the industry’s workforce and their families on any problems they may be facing, including occupational health and wellbeing, mental health, or financial difficulties caused by accident illness, or bereavement.

As part of its championship of the charity’s work, JSP has launched the Lighthouse range of safety products to promote and support the newly-launched Construction Industry Helpline (0845 605 1956).

JSP’s Lighthouse Range

JSP’s Lighthouse range of personal protective products includes the EvoLite® CR2 helmet, which it says is the lightest and strongest EN397 helmet on the market and can be “quickly and easily adjusted by its Revolution™ Wheel Ratchet system”. The company has also launched JSP’s Force 8™ half-mask with Press to Check™ P3 filters, which it says will give daily face-fit reassurance; and JSP’s Thermex dual lens goggle, which it says are the “most advanced safety goggle on the market, giving fog-free vision as well as total eye protection against fine particles, chemical splash, molten metal and extreme temperatures”.

JSP will also be sponsoring the Construction Industry Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament on 23rd April 2015 at Foxhills Golf Club, Surrey, an event that promises to be a fantastic day, fielding 25 teams from the construction industry.

JSP is very pleased to be involved with this initiative,” said Mark Johnstone, JSP’s CEO. “Donations will be made against each PPE product in our Lighthouse Range when purchased by UK construction companies. We hope that with the backing of the construction industry specifying and buying Lighthouse Range PPE, JSP will raise £30-50,000+ over the 12 months to support the extremely valuable work of the Lighthouse Helpline.”
