A series of toolbox training presentations featuring health and safety ‘blunders’ has been made available to download free from the website of safety e-learning provider, Human Focus.
The company says ‘Undercover Health & Safety Clips’ include real-world footage of incidents in which health and safety has gone wrong, caught on film from the likes of CCTV and phone cameras, and highlight “universal lessons” to be learnt.
The Surrey-based firm’s managing director, Ian Pemberton, said: “These presentations include video clips that will make you gasp and, in some instances, laugh. They are all real and are ideal for capturing the attention of staff in a subject that is often seen as boring.
“The presentations are short and punchy and can be viewed online by staff anywhere at any time. They will assist employers to raise awareness of a wide range of occupational health and safety issues.”
