First aid – Checkroll workplace first-aid kits

British Standard 8599-1 for workplace first-aid kits specifies exactly what should be included in each first-aid kit, and places responsibility on the employer to ensure that its kits are always kept fully stocked, explains Checkroll.

The company says its first-aid kits have separate, transparent compartments for each item, so you can see at a glance what they contain.
Each compartment features a label specifying what items and how many of them should be present, so that, in an emergency, you can find what you need in an instant.

Kits are supplied in a durable, zipped bag and come in three sizes — small, medium and large — specified by the British Standards Institution, adds Checkroll.
