Airsweb talks the talk with AVA languages update

Airsweb has announced that its AVA product now supports 90 of the most used languages in the world.

Airsweb german platformAVA is highly configurable, intuitive and has an easy to use interface which empowers users to configure their own audits. Rob Leech said, “We’re not only delighted with the breadth of languages we can now offer customers; we’re delighted with how we have achieved it.”

“In many ways, this update epitomises what we have achieved with AVA: a single code base, modern architecture and user-first design principles enable us to be much more agile than other systems.”

Once enabled, a language can be applied throughout the system to all users. Users can then select from a list of enabled languages which one they would like to use.

“But it doesn’t stop there”, Rob continues, “any label in our system can be updated by system administrators on the fly. So, if you have an internal term that you prefer, then that label can be updated in a matter of seconds by administrators and propagated to all users of that language.”

DFS becomes latest AVA client

DFS is a major employer in the UK, with more than 3,500 staff, and has been awarded the British Standard Kitemark. It has more than 120 stores in total, and will be using Airsweb AVA to help manage incidents and audits.

In recent years, sofa specialist DFS has overseen a period of growth and success, enabling it to open new stores in European countries including Ireland, Spain and the Netherlands.

Paul Johnson, Head of Group Health and Safety, will be managing Incidents and Audit reporting across DFS and will continue to drive a positive health and safety culture.

Mr Johnson said: “As we look to continually develop our Health and Safety Management, we are delighted to be working with Airsweb. AVA gives us greater vision of risk areas across our business both nationally and internationally and will enable us to pro-actively manage our higher risk areas. The system is ideal because its simple interface and personalised dashboards encourage engagement and ownership, while offering great flexibility.”

Airsweb Managing Director Mark Swithenbank added: “We are highly delighted to welcome DFS as one of our latest AVA clients and we are confident Paul and his team will certainly reap the rewards of AVA to help manage their Incidents and Audits across Europe.

“It highlights the importance that DFS places on health and safety, whilst also delivering a strong behavioural safety message at all levels.”
