Award for iFlex RackGuard

A barrier protection firm from Yorkshire has announced winning the Product Award in Industry/Skilled Trades at the iF Design Awards in Hamburg, Germany.
A-SAFE (UK) Ltd scooped the award for its iFlex RackGuard, which it says aims to protect racking legs using various innovations including compression hinge legs which enable the product to grip securely around the racking upright. The firm adds that the iFlex RackGuard is its second generation of leg rack protection, which is made from a single piece of co-extruded polymer and rubber, providing best-in-class frontal and side impact performance on rack legging.
Other features highlighted by A-SAFE include rubber centralising lugs, and ten frictional grip points to further improve hold on any rack leg, adding that the product is available in all standard rack leg sizes, according to the company.
A-SAFE says that the iFlex RackGuard can significantly reduce the chance of racking collapse, thus keeping people, property and machinery safe. Industries using the firm’s products include airports, warehousing, car parks, cold storage, logistics, construction and engineering, they say.
