Chemicals auditing – Chemstore

Chemical safety solutions provider Chemstore has just announced the nationwide rollout of its Chemical Safety Site Audit. This free service will be particularly beneficial to any organisation that handles, stores or uses hazardous or pollutant substances, says the company.

It explains that the audit is conducted by highly-experienced engineers with specialist knowledge, while the ensuing report will reference the various applicable legislation and guidance notes. These include HS(G)71, HS(G)51, DSEAR, BS EN 14470, COSHH, the ATEX directives, and the Environment Agency Pollution Prevention Guidelines.

Chemstore says the report provides the basis for specified remedial action required to ensure full compliance with the relevant legislation and standards. It adds that many organisations use this free service prior to corporate, Environment Agency and ISO safety and environmental audits.
