Australian Bush Fires: Safety4Good fundraising appeal
Simon Bliss, MD at Principal People and the brains behind the Safety4Good campaign, is raising money for the Australian Bush Fires.
On Friday 24 of January, Principal People will be raising money for WWF and The Red Cross equally through the Safety4Good programme to support the catastrophic bush fires in Australia, in celebrations of Australia Day (Sunday 26).
Shockingly, statistics read that there have been over 28 fatalities, 3,000 homes destroyed, and 7.3 million hectares have been burned and the fires show no signs of stopping. As well as this, it is estimated that over one billion animals have been affected nationwide.
Principal People will be holding a Cake Sale and a BBQ at their offices in Farnborough in an effort to raise money for the two charities with a hope to achieve £1,000.
