Wellbeing video: how important is gratitude?

This animation from Building Site to Boardroom (BS2B) shows the benefits of gratitude on our health and wellbeing.

It is well documented that people who cultivate an attitude of gratitude tend to be happier and able to maintain a feeling of contentment, it may also help you bounce back from feeling stressed. Gratitude should be on-going in order to make a lasting difference to your inner well-being. This animation shows how gratitude enables you to have a happier and more grateful outlook on life.

In this episode  of the Safety & Health Podcast, ‘Burnout, stress and being human’, Heather Beach is joined by Stacy Thomson to discuss burnout, perfectionism and how to deal with burnout as an individual, as management and as an organisation.

We provide an insight on how to tackle burnout and why mental health is such a taboo subject, particularly in the workplace.

Good little animation.
Passing that gratitude on in the form of praise or recognition also goes a long way for a person to feel valued and to encourage like behaviours.

Good video. It is important to remember that safety employees are people too and common strategies for maximizing performance shouldn’t be overlooked as we look for safety specific solutions.

Absolute bonkers. Has the world gone mad! So, all the people with crappy jobs, bad managers, etc. should do this instead? Should we think of Brexit and Trump and start a book on what we’re grateful for?!
