York Hospital has introduced an ergonomically-designed trolley from Craven Ltd to accommodate its medical gas cylinders. Made of lightweight stainless steel, Craven says the trolley is more hygienic and aesthetically pleasing than traditional painted metal trolleys, and easier to manoeuvre and maintain.

Sized to fit a variety of medical gas and oxygen cylinders, the trolleys are said to be constructed from 304-grade stainless steel, with 200mm anti-static wheels and featuring a positive-fix stainless-steel gate to retain the cylinder. The solid base allows free standing when stationary, and the round tube handle aids manoeuvrability, adds Craven.
