BSS says it recently provided training for 14 health and safety professionals in the first ever NEBOSH Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety (IOGC) course held in Qatar.
According to the company, the course delivered a 100-per-cent pass rate, with 64 per cent of participants achieving a credit, or higher.
The course was presented by BSS directors, Steve Burke and Pat McLoughlin. Commented Burke: “We saw the IOGC course as an opportunity to widen our portfolio of accredited courses, with Pat and myself leading from the front on this one, by delivering the first of a series of courses in order to ensure our usual high standards are maintained.”
BSS offers training via a number of accredited courses, including several NEBOSH qualifications: National General Certificate; National Construction Certificate; Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management; International General Certificate; International Construction Certificate; and Award in Health and Safety at Work.
