AED Solutions will be exhibiting Rescue Mate®, described as an interactive voice-guided instrument that incorporates a new platform for education/training and emergency treatment.

During an emergency, the device “asks questions” of the operator/first responder who, simply by answering ‘yes’ or ‘no’, is guided through the proper procedures for treatment.

AED Solutions claims that even trained first responders hesitate to act in serious situations, and that knowledge gained via conventional training can be soon forgotten. It says Rescue Mate addresses this by offering on-site training options backed up by certified training companies based on competence-based teaching modules. In an emergency, the device provides proper backup and makes sure rescuers get the assistance they need.
