German-based mail-order business engelbert strauss says it specialises in providing workwear, safety equipment and tools for every working environment.

Founded in 1948 by Engelbert Strauss, the business is now run by his son Norbert and his family, and employs more than 400 people. The company says it has a vast range of more than 20,000 products, including its own-branded workwear lines, and everything from shirts and trousers to overalls and aprons.
 
The company also sells safety shoes and boots, as well as personal protective equipment (PPE) like gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses and respirators. Industrial supplies, such as cleaning rags and stretch-wrap film, are also stocked and, in keeping with its roots, engelbert strauss still sells a wide range of brushes and brooms.
