Machinery safety training- Pilz Automation Technology

30 March 2009

Pilz Automation Technology says those who attend its machinery safety training courses can rest assured that they will benefit from knowledge gained by Pilz engineers and consultants who, for example, apply standards when designing safety circuits, and advise manufacturing companies on how best to comply with UK regulations.

The company says it is a leading provider of training in machinery safety and the management of health and safety, with several courses leading to City & Guilds, or IOSH certificates for successful candidates. It has published a new booklet outlining its courses schedule for January to June 2009. Two types of course are offered: those relating to regulations and standards, and others that are specific to Pilz machinery safety products. Comprehensive information about all of the courses is included in the new booklet.

All of the scheduled courses take place at the Pilz training facilities in Corby, Northants, apart from one of the City & Guilds four-day machinery safety courses, which is at Durham County Cricket Club. Additional courses can be organised at clients' own premises, or other convenient locations, if required. Pilz adds that it can tailor some of the courses to suit the specific needs of companies/individuals, applying the same rigorous quality-assurance techniques to these as are applied to the scheduled courses.
