Interlocks - Castell KSD+21 April 2011
Designed to the latest standard BS EN 60947-3:2009, the new KSD+ has been created with a nondirect drive interlocking mechanism. To further enhance the safety of the KSD+ and protect its user, Castell says the ability to switch the device on while the case is open has been removed through the use of a coded sensor. The KSD+ features a stainless-steel enclosure that can be placed in harsh environments, making it ideal for food, chemical and heavy-industry applications, Castell points out. It adds that it is fully compatible with previous FS lock types, so can be used in existing interlocking systems. The KSD+ also uses end-coding technology and is available off the shelf within 48 hours. To find out more, visit www.castell.com |
