IHS Inc, a global source of business information and insight, and the Fire Protection Association (FPA), have announced a new collaboration to incorporate fire safety, fire prevention, and fire protection content from FPA into the IHS Occupational Health and Safety Information Service (OHSIS).


Said IHS vice-president of sales and marketing, Adrian Gibson: "With this collaboration we are now able to include even more critical fire-safety information within OHSIS, ensuring fire safety professionals and HS&E professionals have access to invaluable fire safety and fire prevention information."

Added Jane Thurgood, associate director at the FPA: "Working with IHS enables FPA to broaden the distribution of its publications, and hence the dissemination of crucial fire safety information to both specialised staff and to those end users who now find themselves responsible for the safety of their staff and customers."
