uvex has launched a new combination of mutually compatible safety spectacles and masks, which, the company says, ensures perfect protection and doubles performance.

The superfit safety eyewear, when worn together with the new Classic 2310 Cup version P3 or Classic 2210 Cup version P2 masks, solves the problem of user reluctance to wear the equipment, according to uvex.

The design of the superfit spectacle ensures a dovetail fit, it adds, since the nose bridge fits perfectly inside the mask but does not affect the sealing qualities, so ensuring there are no gaps round the eye and face. According to the company, the thinness of the superfit lens and light weight of the spectacle ensure there is no pressure and movement on the mask, thus avoiding potential seal failure.

uvex says workers using the spectacle and mask simultaneously will be fully protected from all potential eye and respiratory hazards.
