Air conditioning - Breezair

31 August 2010

The University of Bolton has employed HVAC firm Cosaf to install its Breezair system across several of its classrooms.

The Breezair unit is claimed to be 80-per-cent more resourceful than standard air-conditioning units operating on 100-per-cent fresh air, with increased concentration levels making a real difference to indoor air quality.

Cosaf says the system consumes little water and produces very low carbon emissions, and has no refrigerant compressor.

Professor Peter Marsh, deputy vice-chancellor at the University of Bolton, said: “Already staff and students are noticing its impact on the room temperatures where the system is operating.”
